So I apologize if anyone has tried to read this blog...I am a slacker! But I am going to try and keep this updated now (if I even have any readers at all).
I am in the process of learning how to coupon clip and $ave lot$ of money!! If you live in Utah Valley, my best advice to you is to go to savvyshopperdeals.com and watch that lady's videos. I will try and post what I think are the best sales and coupons on here. If you are like me, you are overwhelmed by coupon clipping and trying to find out where you can save your money. I think the best place to start (besides watching the videos on the above website) would be to start purchasing the Sunday paper. There will be 2 coupon catalogs in there every week put out either by Red Plum, Smart Source, or Procter and Gamble. Some great websites with coupons are coupons.com or boodle.com, or redplum or smartsource.com.
If you begin to be a savvy shopper, it will take time. There are lots of coupons listed on savvy shopper that it is too late to get now. If you begin to follow that website, it will probably take about a month or so before all of the offers will be available to you so that's why it's important to begin now! Don't be overwhelmed. Easier said than done, but I saved over $60 on my groceries today. It takes time to get started, but once you are going, it will be an hour or two a week but you save a fortune! Today, I began saving. My total reached $131 on groceries and I started freaking out a little bit. Then, I gave her all my coupons. And guess what? After all the coupons, that $131 went down by $55. That was just at one store. I did go to 3 stores today. Hopefully I will not have to do that each week. But my family should be set on food for a long time now.
